Returning Hattah Kulkyne's Native Flora and Fauna

Returning Hattah Kulkyne's Native Flora and Fauna is a project with a determined vision: to restore the semi-arid woodlands of Hattah Kulykne National Park and reintroduce native fauna.

People and Parks Foundation have partnered with Parks Victoria and community to progress active restoration of Hattah-Kulkyne National Park building on the extensive grazer management and water management activities already undertaken by Parks Victoria and its existing partners.

Going beyond business as usual and progressing active restoration of Hattah Kulkyne National Park, the program will establish a new partnership model for park and waterways management in Victoria bringing together a range of partners to achieve explicit outcomes. 

La Trobe University have completed a feasibility study as stage one of the project, and efforts move this project forward are being discussed between community, People and Parks and Parks Victoria.
